Parenting in the Local Church, E.D.H.

I am a computer engineer and have been associated with local churches since 1967. I have three teen-agers, 15, 17, and 19. They all love the Lord and are growing healthily in their Christian life. They have all been raised in the local church and are beneficiaries of the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, because of which, my children have been preserved from the corruption of this age.

My older son is entering his second year at the University of Texas. The reason he chose that school was because he wanted his college life to be healthy in Christ, in addition to having a strong educational environment. He meets with a Christian group there that is active in preaching the gospel and shepherding the students on the campus. He enjoys the Christ-filled environment of this group.

My daughter will be a senior in high school. She is also heavily involved with the high school church meetings and activities. She has morning revival every day, reading and praying over the Bible with her companions over the phone every morning. Over the weekend, church activities have been the center of her recreational life.

As a parent, I appreciate Witness Lee's rich ministry and feel extremely grateful.
